About Us

Youth Medical Weekly is a blog that wants to educate the youth on current, medical-related, topics. Each blog post will consist of information that youth, or people of any age, can read to be able to understand the current concepts in medicine. As of now, there will be at least one blog post per week, but this number will increase as time goes on.

The sole founder/writer of this blog is Los Angeles high school student, Pranav Kunderu. Currently, he is a sophomore, who plans to be a Cardiologist when he is older. For a while now, he has wanted to start something that would be able to educate others on topics in the medical field, but he wasn’t too sure as to what he wanted to do. Finally, he landed on the idea of a blog, due to the fact that he can publish a short post, outlining some big ideas that are currently being talked about in the area of medicine. He hopes to be able to do good with this blog, and wants it to be, ultimately, a place where people from all ages can read new things and learn about what is happening around the globe.

Currently, there are five topics that readers can choose from: Mental Health, Technology, Fitness, Addiction, and Sports. Clicking on any one of these categories will lead the reader to a page where they will be able to see all of the past articles that relate to this topic.

We are also trying to connect with charities so that we can raise money through this blog. If you are a charity, or know any charities that may be interested in working with us, please do not hesitate to contact us. The email is on the contact page. For more information, visit the page titled: Charities.

THANK YOU!
